Job Requirements

  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • At least 2 years of cooking experience
  • Ability to read orders from point of sales system
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques such as grilling, sautéing, deep frying, and seafood stocks
  • Knowledge of basic food prep functions and knife handling
  • Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
  • Stable work history verified by background check
  • Two positive verifiable references

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of cooking experience in a restaurant setting
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques including grilling, sautéing, deep frying, and seafood stocks
  • Ability to read and follow recipes and orders accurately
  • Experience with basic food preparation and knife skills
  • Ability to work in a team and follow direction
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook all food items according to menus
  • Expedite orders quickly and correctly
  • Ensure all stations are set to standards
  • Follow instructions from the Chef and Sous Chef
  • Read orders from the point of sales system
  • Apply cooking techniques including grilling, sautéing, deep frying, and seafood stock preparation
  • Perform basic food prep such as cleaning greens and cutting fresh produce
