Job Requirements
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- At least 2 years of cooking experience
- Ability to read orders from point of sales system
- Knowledge of cooking techniques such as grilling, sautéing, deep frying, and seafood stocks
- Knowledge of basic food prep functions and knife handling
- Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
- Stable work history verified by background check
- Two positive verifiable references
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of cooking experience in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of cooking techniques including grilling, sautéing, deep frying, and seafood stocks
- Ability to read and follow recipes and orders accurately
- Experience with basic food preparation and knife skills
- Ability to work in a team and follow direction
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook all food items according to menus
- Expedite orders quickly and correctly
- Ensure all stations are set to standards
- Follow instructions from the Chef and Sous Chef
- Read orders from the point of sales system
- Apply cooking techniques including grilling, sautéing, deep frying, and seafood stock preparation
- Perform basic food prep such as cleaning greens and cutting fresh produce
