Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant cooking experience
- Availability to work PM shifts between 1 pm and 11:30 pm
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong organizational skills
- Compliance with health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of hot line cook experience including sauté station
- Experience with wok and Asian fusion cuisine is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Positive attitude and adaptability
- Prior experience supporting various kitchen stations
Job Duties
- Maintain and set up food production stations and quality control of all meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, seasonings, and other food items prepared on the hot line
- Work multiple kitchen functions including grill, sauté, and pantry stations
- Ensure consistent quality of food prepared on the line
- Create appealing plate designs and maintain presentation quality
- Support Trader Vic's primarily and other outlets as needed
- Operate efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet culinary standards and deadlines
