Job Requirements

  • Part-time availability (less than 30 hours a week)
  • ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • ability to stand, walk, sit for long periods
  • capability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and use hands to handle objects
  • good vision including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • tolerate warm indoor conditions
  • work near grill and fryer
  • withstand frequently loud noise levels

Job Duties

  • Follow standards to ensure consistency in food taste and presentation
  • prepare meats, seafood, vegetables, and other items required for the line
  • carefully follow standard recipes when preparing all items
  • use food preparation equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions
  • ensure all restaurant staff are familiar with key ingredients, preparation, and taste of all menu items
  • work closely with front of the house service team to ensure expedient ticket times, excellent food quality, and proper plate presentation
  • incorporate safe work practices and safe food handling standards
