Job Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience required
- Ability to work Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Ability to perform essential job functions safely
- Compliance with company policies and procedures
- Willingness to attend in-service and safety meetings
- Ability to maintain proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures
- Adherence to safety measures such as use of cut gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes
- Ability to handle food and kitchen equipment properly
Job Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience
- Familiarity with high-volume food preparation preferred
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety regulations
- Knowledge of HACCP standards
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in food preparation areas
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
- Tastes all prepared food items
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
- Responsible for records from area worked during service periods
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
