- High school diploma or equivalent
- willingness to work every other weekend and some holidays
- ability to work without late-night shifts
- ability to complete a pre-hire health assessment and drug screening
- compliance with COVID-19 safety requirements
- reliable and punctual
- physical ability to perform cooking duties

- previous cooking experience in a healthcare or residential setting preferred

- Preparing personalized meals that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences
- maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met
- collaborating with dietary staff to plan and execute menus
- monitoring inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- assisting with special event meal preparation
- adhering to all health and safety regulations
