Job Qualifications

- Ability to communicate effectively in the predominant language(s) used at the job site
- Obtaining a high school diploma or a similar qualification
- Prior experience in restaurant operations is advantageous
Job Duties
- Ensure consistent food quality by cooking and preparing dishes to order, always following kitchen procedures
- Keep tabs on food waste levels and inventory quantities, resolving any problems related to food quality promptly
- Nurture a positive team dynamic between the back-end and customer-facing employees
- Mentor and groom crew members for future kitchen leadership positions
- Strengthen communication with crew members and customers to uphold superior customer service and drive operational throughput
- Keep the kitchen space clean and free from contamination
- Inspect kitchen machinery to ensure proper maintenance and swift repair of any malfunctioning equipment
- Ensure the enforcement of safety protocols to foster a secure atmosphere and minimize accidents
- Adhere to guidelines by ensuring that material safety data sheets (MSDS) are adequately filled out and that inventory rotation is practiced in accordance with FIFO standards
