Job Requirements
- 6 months related experience and/or training
- ability to stand for long periods
- capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds
- willingness to work in extreme heat, cold, wet or humid conditions
- regular and reliable attendance
- ability to incorporate safe work practices
- ability to follow kitchen safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- 6 months related experience and/or training
- food safety and sanitation training preferred
- ability to work in physically demanding environment
- knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- ability to follow established recipes and procedures
- attention to detail
Job Duties
- line cook experience required
- knowledge of various cooking methods, equipment and procedures
- prepares items in accordance with established recipes for a consistent product
- expedite orders in a timely manner
- learns and maintains standards in food production and quality
- practices excellent operational sanitation
- verifies that all coolers are at the proper temperatures and are cleaned on a daily basis
- monitors inventory rotation to maintain fresh product with little or no waste
- incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- regular and reliable attendance
- performs other duties as required
