Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 2 years cooking experience in a professional kitchen
- knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation
- ability to lead and supervise a team
- strong organizational skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook or cook supervisor
- strong knowledge of food safety regulations
- ability to train and mentor kitchen staff
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- basic math skills for portion control and inventory management
- high school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Lead kitchen line during service to ensure timely and accurate food production
- prepare and cook food according to recipes and portion standards
- supervise and train kitchen team members on prep, line operations, and food safety practices
- monitor food quality, portion control, and ticket times
- assist with daily prep tasks, inventory tracking, and station setup
- ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards
- communicate effectively with front-of-house staff and fellow kitchen team members
- step in to cover any kitchen station as needed
