Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years cooking experience in a professional kitchen
  • knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation
  • ability to lead and supervise a team
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cook or cook supervisor
  • strong knowledge of food safety regulations
  • ability to train and mentor kitchen staff
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • basic math skills for portion control and inventory management
  • high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Lead kitchen line during service to ensure timely and accurate food production
  • prepare and cook food according to recipes and portion standards
  • supervise and train kitchen team members on prep, line operations, and food safety practices
  • monitor food quality, portion control, and ticket times
  • assist with daily prep tasks, inventory tracking, and station setup
  • ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards
  • communicate effectively with front-of-house staff and fellow kitchen team members
  • step in to cover any kitchen station as needed
