Job Requirements

  • At least two years of kitchen management experience
  • ability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00am to 2:00pm with flexible hours
  • eligibility to work in the United States
  • ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • At least two years of kitchen management experience
  • ability to supervise and train food service staff
  • knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP guidelines
  • capability to manage purchasing and inventory control
  • skills in operating and maintaining kitchen equipment
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to handle customer feedback professionally

Job Duties

  • Trains employees
  • plans, assigns and directs work
  • appraises performance
  • rewards and disciplines associates
  • addresses complaints and resolves problems
  • advises management of purchasing requirements to minimize waste and avoid product shortages
  • uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
  • operates and cleans equipment in accordance with department procedures
  • stores, labels and dates food items according to policy
  • maintains food rotations to minimize spoilage and waste
  • follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply
  • helps serve meals and remains present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback
  • performs other duties as assigned
