Job Requirements
- At least two years of kitchen management experience
- ability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00am to 2:00pm with flexible hours
- eligibility to work in the United States
- ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- At least two years of kitchen management experience
- ability to supervise and train food service staff
- knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP guidelines
- capability to manage purchasing and inventory control
- skills in operating and maintaining kitchen equipment
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to handle customer feedback professionally
Job Duties
- Trains employees
- plans, assigns and directs work
- appraises performance
- rewards and disciplines associates
- addresses complaints and resolves problems
- advises management of purchasing requirements to minimize waste and avoid product shortages
- uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
- operates and cleans equipment in accordance with department procedures
- stores, labels and dates food items according to policy
- maintains food rotations to minimize spoilage and waste
- follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply
- helps serve meals and remains present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback
- performs other duties as assigned
