Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of one year culinary experience in a quality, high volume kitchen
- knowledge of proper culinary methods and sanitation standards
- ability to supervise and train employees
- excellent multitasking and organizational skills
- strong attention to detail
- flexible to work night shifts
- Food Handler's certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- At least one year prior culinary experience in a high volume establishment emphasizing scratch cooking
- comprehensive knowledge of culinary methods, techniques, and standards
- excellent multitasking skills and attention to detail
- strong product knowledge
- proven ability to provide friendly and helpful customer service
- experience supervising a team
Job Duties
- Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
- ensuring meal services begin on time
- ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality
- coordinating and supervising the work of kitchen staff
- maintaining established standards for food preparation and safety
- monitoring compliance with sanitation and health regulations
- managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
