Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must hold ServSafe Manager certification
- Previous experience in a hospital or long term care facility preferred
- Ability to unload and stock groceries on shelves of various heights
- Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Ability to perform simple math calculations, measure and record data
- Ability to supervise and instruct others
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Ability to communicate professionally with residents, staff and family members

Job Duties
- Supervise and monitor dietary personnel, ensuring compliance with protocols and guidelines
- Prepare and serve meals tailored to residents' dietary requirements, in coordination with the Dietary Manager
- Contribute insights to production planning, including forecasting needs and recipe development
- Assist in the procurement and proper storage of food and equipment
- Ensure the dietary department consistently delivers visually appealing, high-quality meals within budget constraints
- Proficiently operate various kitchen equipment and adaptive tools for residents' specialized needs
- Respond promptly to residents' requests and needs, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness
- Collaborate with the Dietary Manager in planning and executing facility-wide special events
