Job Requirements

Must hold Serv Safe Manager certification
Must be able to unload and stock groceries on shelves of various heights
Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs
Ability to read, write and understand English
Ability to perform simple math calculations
Attention to detail
Good follow through skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Ability to supervise and instruct others
Previous experience in a hospital or long term care facility preferred
Demonstrates cooperation in assisting others
Ability to work as a team
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Patience, tact, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
Ability to communicate with residents, staff and family members in a professional manner

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Supervises and monitors dietary department personnel as required
Ensures department personnel follow established policies and procedures
Contributes to performance evaluations of subordinates with the Dietary Manager
Supervises dietary aide work assignments
Prepares and serves meals according to residents' diet orders
Assists Dietary Manager with production planning including forecasting and recipe development
Assists with purchase and storage of food and equipment
