Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of culinary experience in a high volume establishment
- Experience supervising a team
- Knowledge of food service and sanitation standards
- Ability to work onsite full-time
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Food handler certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
- Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once
- Experience supervising a team
- High-level product knowledge
- Ability to provide friendly and helpful customer service
Job Duties
- Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
- Ensuring meal services begin on time
- Ensuring appropriate portion sizes, appearance, and temperature of all food items
- Supervising kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and high-quality standards
- Coordinating work schedules and tasks for kitchen employees
- Monitoring adherence to safety and sanitation standards
- Providing leadership and support to maintain a positive working environment
