Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of culinary experience in a high volume establishment
  • Experience supervising a team
  • Knowledge of food service and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work onsite full-time
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Food handler certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of prior culinary experience in a quality and high volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking
  • Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once
  • Experience supervising a team
  • High-level product knowledge
  • Ability to provide friendly and helpful customer service

Job Duties

  • Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation
  • Ensuring meal services begin on time
  • Ensuring appropriate portion sizes, appearance, and temperature of all food items
  • Supervising kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and high-quality standards
  • Coordinating work schedules and tasks for kitchen employees
  • Monitoring adherence to safety and sanitation standards
  • Providing leadership and support to maintain a positive working environment
