Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months of applicable work experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk long distances
  • Willingness to undergo on-the-job training
  • May require valid driver’s license and driving ability depending on location

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Minimum of six months of applicable experience preferred
  • Willingness to complete on-the-job training
  • Ability to obtain Serv Safe certification if required by location
  • Willingness to fulfill annual continuing education and safety requirements
  • Ability to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification if required

Job Duties

  • Prepare and assemble baked goods and food items
  • Cook, season, and portion food according to menu and dietary requirements
  • Adhere to food quality standards including appearance, taste, and temperature
  • Perform washing and cleaning duties to maintain sanitation in cooking and serving areas
  • Maintain labeling and proper storage of food, equipment, and machinery
  • Follow standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, grills, and fryers
