Job Requirements
- Food Handler's Certificate or ability to obtain within 30 days
- valid resume submission
- ability to work the specified full-time schedule Monday through Friday
- pass performance and oral exams during the hiring process
- legally eligible to work in the United States
- willingness to work at Sly Park Conservation and Environmental Education Center located near Pollock Pines, CA
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
- valid Food Handler's Certificate or ability to obtain within 30 days
- ability to work independently under general supervision
- effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Prepare meals in large quantities for students, clients, and staff
- cook food according to recipes and safety standards
- serve meals in a cafeteria setting
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and serving areas
- follow health and safety regulations
- assist with inventory and food supply management
- perform other related duties as assigned
