Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- must be able to obtain base security clearance
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- some food service experience necessary

- some food service experience necessary
- knowledge of basic mathematic calculations
- knowledge of American system of weights and volume and conversions of weights, measurements and sizes
- able to understand written and/or verbal instructions
- able to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- capable of remaining on feet for long periods
- able to wear required personal protective equipment
Job Duties
- Prepare and store food following the prescribed recipes and product specifications
- ensure food is presented in an appealing and timely manner
- assist in food cost and control by progressively cooking, batch cooking, monitoring temperatures
- practice excellent food service and sanitation practices in accordance with the HACCP guidelines
- maintain cleanliness of work areas including daily cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, prep areas and work stations
- work well independently and as part of a team
- report all defective equipment to appropriate Assistant Manager
- interact with customers and staff in a courteous manner
- perform other duties as assigned
