Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in food service in an institutional setting such as healthcare preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Desire to maintain the highest standard of service excellence
  • Be free from illegal use of drugs

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals for residents based on menu and dietary needs
  • Use food service equipment including thermometers, knives, slicers, steamers, kettles
  • Use food preparation equipment including burners, grills, ovens
  • Maintain, clean and sanitize equipment and work area according to established safety and sanitation standards
  • Ensure compliance with all record keeping, food safety and risk management requirements
