Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking experience in a commercial or institutional kitchen
- Availability to work 16-24 hours per week including weekdays and weekends from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic food safety knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Working knowledge of cooking techniques and procedures
- Understanding of proper food storage, temperature holding, and sanitation
- Experience in a high-volume cooking environment
- Ability to follow standardized recipes accurately
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in food preparation
Job Duties
- Understand and complete production for a la carte and banquets using standardized recipes
- Properly set up and stock station-based par sheets
- Utilize high skill and technique in an a la minute line production environment
- Read tickets clearly and produce consistent products in high-volume situations
- Perform any special production tasks as assigned by supervisors
