Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior cooking experience in a professional kitchen
  • Availability to work weekdays and weekends from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm
  • Ability to work 16 to 24 hours per week
  • Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including standing for long periods
  • Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to read and understand food tickets accurately

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of cooking techniques and procedures
  • Understanding of proper food storage, temperature holding, and sanitation
  • Experience in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Ability to read and follow standardized recipes accurately
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Prior experience in banquet or ala carte production preferred
  • Commitment to quality and consistency in food preparation

Job Duties

  • Understand and complete production for ala carte and banquets using standardized recipes
  • Properly set up and stock station-based par sheets
  • Demonstrate high skill and technique in an a la minute line production environment
  • Read tickets clearly and produce consistent products in a high-volume situation
  • Perform special production tasks as assigned by supervisors
  • Maintain proper food storage, temperature holding, and sanitation practices
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operation
