Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent experience preferred
  • 1-3 years of food preparation experience
  • ISDOH approved certification of food handler under Title 410 IAC 7-22 may be required
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • ability to follow production instructions
  • strong attention to detail and hygiene

Job Duties

  • prepares regular and therapeutic diet items
  • prepares hot and cold food items for retail, patient, and catering
  • assembles food according to production sheets
  • follows directions of chef, lead, manager, or supervisor
  • adheres to food safety and hygiene standards
  • maintains cleanliness of food preparation areas
  • assists with inventory and stock management
