Job Requirements

  • understand verbal and written instructions in English
  • follow safety rules and wear required protective gear
  • adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and USDA policies
  • identify and take corrective action for sub-standard ingredients or procedures
  • ability to transport oneself safely on uneven, wet, and slippery surfaces
  • recognize equipment warning signals and hazardous conditions
  • punctuality and reliable attendance
  • effective communication skills
  • accurate weighing and basic math skills
  • legible handwriting
  • work in temperatures from 35 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit
  • stand for 9-10 hour shifts with breaks
  • ability to work at least 40 hours per week including possible overtime
  • work independently and as part of a team
  • push/pull heavy items up to 1,500 feet repeatedly
  • lift boxes and pans up to 50 lbs multiple times per shift
  • manipulate controls on equipment
  • perform tasks with extreme accuracy
  • able to fulfill general production roles

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • 90 days of food manufacturing experience preferred
  • basic computer data entry skills
  • ability to lift, bend, pull heavy commodities repeatedly for 10-hour shifts
  • willing to work overtime as needed

Job Duties

  • Inspect room to ensure cleanliness and compliance
  • check equipment operational status and safety features
  • complete and verify paperwork accuracy and currency
  • follow all recipes and daily deviations
  • maintain equipment settings and cooking yields
  • model the company’s values in all activities
  • perform other duties as assigned by team leader
