Job Requirements

- prior experience in food service or retail is an asset
- ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties
- Completes all breakfast tasks
- greets guests entering the store
- processes guests orders on the Point-of-Sale terminal
- ensures all guests orders are completed accurately and product is correctly labeled
- ensures the store is clean and stocked
- accurately accounts for all cash transactions
- supports deli operations during lunch
- stocks all take-out items
- restocks all beverages and retail items as needed including guest coffee station
- cleans tables as needed
- restocks refrigerated cases and freezers with product from walk in cooler and freezer using FIFO technique
- ensures all product in cases is rotated and visually appealing
- uses scales to weigh and price meat appropriately
- slices deli meats to customer orders
- maintains the cleanliness of the deli cases refrigerators and freezers
- acts as support during lunch and dinner including frying French fries building sandwiches fulfilling guest orders and supporting kitchen staff
- maintains a clean and visually appealing workspace
- preps sauces meats and spices for sale and use in the store
- wash dishes
- sweeps and mops floors and keeps them clear of debris
- general janitorial work such as sweeping mopping and keeping floors clear of debris
- daily detail cleaning on a schedule
