Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift medium to heavy weights up to 75 pounds occasionally
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods up to 8 hours
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team and management

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Set up the batter table and prepare batter mix
  • Ensure call sheets are complete, posted and used
  • Check all equipment and report malfunctions immediately
  • Color balance fryers and maintain shortening levels
  • Filter and clean fryers according to safety guidelines
  • Pan sufficient chicken for operational needs
  • Prepare and cook all food products as directed
  • Ensure food meets specifications, procedures and quality standards including holding times
  • Maintain a clean work area by practicing clean-as-you-go
  • Verify all necessary product and supplies are stocked
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the cooler
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager in Charge of Shift
