Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • Minimum one year cooking experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Unexpired Arizona food handler certification
  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand walk and use hands regularly
  • Flexible to work weekends holidays and varied schedules
  • Regular attendance required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Culinary degree or certification preferred but not required
  • Minimum one year cooking experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques culinary terminology and food safety standards
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes
  • Excellent teamwork collaboration and communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong time management
  • Flexibility and adaptability to workflow and menu changes
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Knowledge of food cooking regulations
  • Ability to use point of sale system and employee self-service HR/payroll database

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients including cutting chopping and marinating following recipes to cook dishes accurate and efficiently
  • Grill sauté bake fry or cook menu items to order ensuring dishes meet standards for taste and presentation
  • Monitor food quality throughout cooking process
  • Understand menu ingredients cooking techniques and allergen information to answer guest questions and make recommendations
  • Monitor inventory levels communicate with management to order supplies timely and minimize waste
  • Maintain clean sanitary and organized workspace including cleaning equipment and disposing trash
  • Work banquet events participate in pre-shift meetings taste tests and training
  • Wash dishes operate dishwashing equipment distribute and store clean dishes
  • Follow safety standards use appropriate safety equipment and maintain good personal hygiene
  • Perform other duties as assigned
