Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 75 pounds
- Capacity to stand and walk on hard floors for up to eight hours
- Ability to use cooking equipment safely
- Attention to food quality and safety procedures
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
- Flexibility to perform various tasks as assigned
- Willingness to comply with all safety guidelines and use safety equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in cooking or food preparation preferred
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and operational procedures
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina to meet demands of the role
Job Duties
- Sets up the batter table and prepares batter mix
- Ensures call sheets are complete and used
- Checks equipment and reports any malfunctions
- Color balances fryers and maintains proper shortening levels
- Filters and cleans fryers following safety guidelines
- Pans sufficient chicken for operational needs
- Prepares and cooks all food products as directed
- Ensures food meets specifications and quality standards
- Maintains a clean work area with clean-as-you-go practices
- Verifies product and supplies are stocked at the batter area
- Maintains organization and cleanliness of cooler
- Performs other tasks as assigned by Manager in Charge of shift
