Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk continuously for up to 8 hours
- Ability to follow safety protocols and use provided safety equipment
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow detailed cooking procedures and standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to meet lifting and standing requirements
Job Duties
- Sets up the batter table, collects all necessary smallwares, and prepares batter mix
- Ensures that call sheets are complete, posted and used
- Checks all equipment and immediately reports any malfunctions within the area to the Manager in Charge
- Color balances fryers and adds sufficient shortening to maintain proper shortening level
- Filters and cleans all fryers at designated times following safety guidelines
- Pans sufficient chicken for operational needs
- Prepares and cooks all food products as directed by the Manager in Charge
- Ensures all food products meet specifications, procedures, and quality standards including holding times
