Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift medium to heavy weights up to 75 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous food preparation or cooking experience in a fast-paced environment is an asset
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
  • strong attention to detail and quality
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work effectively within a team

Job Duties

  • Set up the batter table and prepare batter mix
  • ensure call sheets are complete, posted and used
  • check all equipment and report malfunctions to the Manager in Charge
  • color balance fryers and add shortening to maintain proper levels
  • filter and clean fryers following safety guidelines
  • pan sufficient chicken for operational needs
  • prepare and cook all food products as directed
  • ensure all food products meet specifications and quality standards
  • maintain a clean work area with clean-as-you-go practices
  • verify that product and supplies are stocked and available
  • maintain organization and cleanliness of the cooler
  • perform other tasks as assigned by Manager in Charge
