Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Two years of paid food service experience
- One year of administrative food service experience
- Ability to pass criminal background checks
- Ability to travel overnight when required
- Reliable transportation for work-related travel
- Must maintain CPR, First Aid, and Defensive Driving certifications
- Must retain current food service certificates and health exams
Job Qualifications
- At least two years of paid food service experience
- One year of food service experience with administrative duties such as food ordering and budget management
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic PC operations
- Ability to write reports and correspondence
- Ability to calculate figures and perform mathematical operations
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions
- Must obtain CPR, First Aid, and Defensive Driving certifications
- Must have valid driver’s license with no restrictions
- Must possess current food handler’s certificate and health examination
Job Duties
- Prepares meals in compliance with dietitian-approved menus
- Manages inventory and orders food and kitchen equipment
- Maintains sanitary and safety standards in kitchen and serving areas
- Keeps accurate records of food service operations
- Assists with coordinating outside agency inspections
- Works assigned schedules including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Participates in meetings and training related to food service operations
