Job Requirements
- Minimum two years of paid food service experience with administrative responsibility
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
- Ability to write reports and correspondence
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Ability to apply common sense in routine problem-solving
- Obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid, and Defensive Driving certifications
- Valid driver’s license with no restrictions
- Maintain current food handling certificates and health exams
- Proficient knowledge of Windows or XP operating systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to use standard office equipment
- Pass criminal background checks
- Reliable transportation available with the ability to travel overnight
- Ability to work assigned variable schedule including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

- Minimum of one year in food service with administrative duties
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operational manuals
- Ability to write reports and correspondence
- Skill in performing mathematical calculations such as proportions and percentages
- Ability to apply common sense in problem-solving
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Defensive Driving Certification
- Valid driver’s license without restrictions
- Current food handling certificates and health examination records
- Proficient in Windows or XP operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to operate standard office equipment such as calculator, telephone, fax, and copier
Job Duties
- Prepare meals and ensure compliance with food service regulations and approved menu schedules
- Prepare meals following dietitian-approved menus and provide advanced notification of menu substitutions
- Manage food and kitchen inventory and order supplies for timely meal preparation
- Maintain sanitary and safety standards in kitchen, serving, and prep areas including equipment and utensils
- Maintain written records related to food service operations
- Maintain knowledge of organizational procedures and policies including safety and emergency protocols
- Work assigned schedules including 1st shift, 2nd shift, weekends, and holidays as needed
