Job Requirements

  • Part-time employment available for 24 hours a week including some weekend shifts
  • Experience as a cook or chef in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Knowledge of menu planning and various cooking methods
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow health and safety regulations
  • Commitment to food safety and quality
  • Willingness to undergo criminal background screening
  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or commitment to obtain within 30 days unless exempted

  • Know how to plan menus, prepare food, and use different cooking methods
  • Organize time well and pay attention to details

Job Duties

  • Cook food precisely following established standards and guidelines
  • Work closely with the Culinary Director to make menus that residents love
  • Keep the kitchen clean and organized, following health and safety rules
  • Come up with new dishes that residents will enjoy
  • Be professional in all culinary interactions and operations
