Job Requirements
- Must have ServSafe certification
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be flexible and adaptable
- Must pay attention to detail and demonstrate teamwork
- Must have good time management skills
- Must possess a current manager's level food handler permit
- Must have a positive criminal background screening
- Must adhere to the Company's drug free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be flexible and adaptable, pay attention to detail, and have a sense of teamwork
- Must possess good time management skills and a keen awareness of safety
- Must possess current manager's level food handler permit
- Must have positive criminal background screening
- Experience in senior living, restaurant, hotel, or catering preferred
- Some software and computer skills preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare delicious and attractive food that is colorful and tastefully presented
- Supervise the kitchen under the direction of the Dining Services Director and Chef/Lead Cook
- Prepare high quality meals consistent with local customs and tastes
- Consistently adhere to the standard recipes, the budgeted costs and company policies
- Supervise and/or assist in the proper washing of all dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils
- Properly maintain all kitchen equipment
- Monitor water temperatures and/or chemical compounds to ensure prevention of food borne illness and communicable disease
- Approach residents and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Perform other job duties as assigned
