Job Requirements

  • High school education or GED preferred
  • minimum of five years commercial food preparation experience desired
  • ability to read and write English
  • willingness to adhere to sanitation and safety regulations
  • flexibility to work varied schedules
  • ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare patient and cafeteria food service according to local, state, and federal standards
  • adhere strictly to sanitation policies as required by regulatory authorities
  • assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas
  • follow recipes and menu plans accurately
  • ensure timely delivery of food to patients and cafeteria
  • support compliance with safety and health regulations
  • participate in ongoing training and development programs
