Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Ability to speak English in an understandable manner
  • Previous experience in food preparation
  • Knowledge and experience in working with elderly
  • Previous dementia experience preferred
  • Food Service Sanitation certificate according to State/Local requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
  • Ability to easily lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience working with elderly individuals
  • Previous experience with dementia preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare appetizing and nutritious meals for residents
  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing food service functions
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable kitchen environment
  • Follow strict food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Provide sensitive and professional service to residents
  • Support team members in daily kitchen operations
  • Comply with health and safety regulations
