Job Requirements
- high School diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food preparation
- knowledge and experience working with elderly
- food service sanitation certificate according to state or local requirements
- ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- basic reading and writing skills
- ability to speak English in an understandable manner
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- prepare appetizing meals for residents
- assist the Culinary Services Coordinator in managing food service functions
- maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable kitchen environment
- ensure compliance with food service sanitation standards
- provide tact and sensitivity when interacting with elderly and dementia patients
- follow all safety protocols and kitchen procedures
- help organize food inventory and supplies
