Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation
- Knowledge and experience in working with elderly
- Previous dementia experience preferred
- Food Service Sanitation certificate according to state or local requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Ability to speak English in an understandable manner

Job Duties
- Prepare appetizing and nutritious meals for residents
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing food service functions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Provide tactful and professional service to residents and staff
- Support dietary requirements specific to elderly and dementia-affected individuals
- Participate in employee appreciation events and trainings
