Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- basic reading and writing skills
- ability to speak English in an understandable manner
- previous experience in food preparation required
- knowledge and experience in working with elderly and previous dementia experience preferred
- food service sanitation certificate according to state or local requirements
- ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications

- knowledge and experience working with elderly individuals
- experience with dementia care preferred
- food service sanitation certification according to state and local requirements

Job Duties
- prepare appetizing and nutritious meals for residents
- assist the Executive Chef in managing food service functions
- maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable kitchen and dining environment
- follow state and local food safety regulations
- accommodate special dietary needs of elderly and dementia patients
- ensure proper handling and storage of food supplies
- contribute to a positive and professional team atmosphere
