Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food preparation
- knowledge and experience with elderly care
- previous dementia experience preferred
- Food Service Sanitation certificate
- ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- basic reading and writing skills
- ability to speak English in an understandable manner
Job Qualifications

- knowledge and experience working with elderly individuals
- previous dementia care experience preferred
- Food Service Sanitation certificate according to State/Local requirements

Job Duties
- Prepare appetizing and nutritious meals
- assist the Executive Chef in managing food service functions
- ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable kitchen and dining environment
- follow state and local food sanitation regulations
- maintain inventory and food supplies
- assist in planning menus suited to dietary requirements of elderly residents including those with dementia
- support overall service delivery with tact and professionalism
