Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Two years experience in quantity cooking
- Food Service Food Handler's permit
- CPR certification
- Handle With Care certification
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Two years experience in quantity cooking, preferred
- Food Service Food Handler's permit
- Successful completion of CPR and Handle With Care certification, certifications may be obtained during orientation
Job Duties
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of patient meals, delivering food tray to units as needed
- Ensure that the cafeteria and dining room remain clean and in adherence to all safety and health standards
- Accurately prepare food for modified diets, consulting with Dietician as required
- Adhere to standards for food temperatures during cooking, serving and storage of leftovers
