Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a relevant role such as cook, dishwasher, or server
  • ability to work flexible shifts including mornings, nights, and weekends
  • physical capability to stand for long periods
  • ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds or more
  • basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • capacity to handle a fast-paced kitchen environment

  • able to work mornings, nights, and weekends
  • capable of lifting and moving up to 25 pounds or more
  • physically fit to stand, move, bend, and kneel throughout the shift

Job Duties

  • Set up, clean, and organize workstations
  • prepare ingredients for each shift, such as washing vegetables and seasoning meats
  • prepare ovens, utensils, and grills for each shift
  • take orders from wait staff or a computerized system
  • cook orders according to food health and safety standards
  • offer ideas for specials or seasonal dishes
  • manage multiple food orders efficiently
  • ensure presentation of dishes meets Meddys standards
  • verify accuracy of guest orders
  • deliver food orders to expo staff promptly
  • store all food items properly
  • sanitize workstations and utensils effectively
  • reorder stock and food supplies as needed
  • support and monitor fellow cooks and team members
  • maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
