Job Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Two to four years of relevant food service experience
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift at least 30 pounds
Basic English reading and speaking skills
Must maintain personal hygiene and professional appearance
Ability to follow safety policies and sanitation procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be punctual and dependable
Ability to read and retain information such as recipes and prep lists
Ability to work collaboratively with others
Must be proactive and able to prioritize tasks
Ability to walk long distances and act quickly on assigned duties
Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Degree or certificate in culinary arts preferred
Two to four years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant, catering, or relevant food service environment
Proactive, self-motivated, and organized with the ability to prioritize
Knowledge of sanitation procedures and ability to maintain cleanliness
Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing conditions
Punctual and dependable
Ability to read, retain, and follow recipes, prep lists, menus, and signage
Basic mathematical skills
Ability to speak and read basic English
Strong teamwork skills with ability to work well under stress
Ability to maintain personal hygiene and well-groomed appearance
Physical capability to stand, kneel, lift at least 30 pounds, carry items, push carts, and walk quickly
Experience working in a fast-paced professional kitchen

Job Duties

Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times
Report for scheduled events on time and promptly report to assigned areas
Fulfill opening and closing duties as assigned
Prepare food using correct recipes and meet established timelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of walk-in coolers, reach-ins, dry storage, and work areas
Communicate effectively with supervisors, attendants, runners, chefs, and management
Work collaboratively as part of a team with other service departments within the venue
Ensure attention to detail exceeds expectations
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly kitchen environment
Complete closing duties and checkout procedures with manager or supervisor
Know the layout of the kitchen and back-of-house including emergency and facility locations
Stay aware of other food and beverage outlets within the venue
Be flexible to reassignment within the venue as needed
Work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays to meet service demand levels
