Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in kitchen operation of a hotel, restaurant, or club
- culinary school preferred but not mandatory
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations
- ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide by 10s and 100s
- ability to perform operations using American money, weight, volume, and distance units
- ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions
- ability to stand, walk, reach, talk, hear, taste or smell frequently
- occasionally climb or balance
- frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
- must have close vision, color vision, and depth perception
- willing to work all scheduled shifts required

Job Duties
- Prepare, cook, and serve meals as directed by the Sous Chef
- maintain full knowledge of menus and recipes including daily features
- work proficiently at every station in all club outlets
- cover all shifts in culinary operation while the club is open seven days a week
- complete daily job tasks including preparation of menu items without constant supervision
- maintain daily preparation par list and update based on business demands
- ensure all daily products freshness on hot line and pantry station
- communicate kitchen needs to Supervisors and Sous Chefs
- adhere to all Food Health and Safety regulations
- set up, clean, and organize workstations
- prepare ingredients including washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat
- prepare oven, utensils, and grill for shifts
- follow recipes and plating guides
- cook orders according to health and safety standards
- handle multiple food orders including hot and cold preparations
- monitor multiple orders as new orders arrive
- ensure guest orders have correct food and sides
- ensure timely food preparation
- store food properly
- sanitize and clean workstations and utensils
- assist other cooks and team members
- plate variety of meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables
- assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served
- comply with standards directed by the Chef
- stock and maintain food product levels
- label and date all prepared food
- maintain clean and sanitary workstation areas
- operate grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, saute burners, convection ovens, flat tops, ranges, and refrigeration equipment
- follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup
- assist in food prep during off-peak periods
- close the kitchen properly following checklist
- perform related duties as assigned
