Job Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- minimum 6 months to 2 years cooking experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Southern Nevada Health District Health Card
- ability to lift at least 50 pounds, with assistance if needed
- ability to stand for prolonged periods
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- basic knife skills in compliance with OSHA safety regulations
- ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- exceptional communication skills
- ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality pizzas and other menu items according to customers' orders
- bake pizzas in an oven and prepare pizza dough
- cut, grate, or slice various ingredients
- remove pizza debris from ovens
- maintain all areas in accordance with Health Department and FSS auditing
- complete all daily menus and food products on the kitchen line
- report poor product or below quality items to sous chef or higher immediately
- operate kitchen equipment including dough mixers, pizza oven, knives, grills, stovetops
- prepare meats, poultry, game, fish, vegetables, and fruits including washing, peeling, cutting, seeding
- weigh and measure ingredients
- apply cooking methods such as steaming, sautéing, frying, baking, roasting, braising, boiling, poaching, broiling
- maintain food storage and handling procedures
- uphold food quality and nutritional standards
- perform technical culinary food production, portion control, and service standards
- follow production schedule and cooking temperature protocols
- maintain clean and sanitary work station and equipment
- stock sufficient food products at work station
- adhere to proper plate presentation and garnish setup
- store, rotate, and manage food products per guidelines
- comply with safety regulations and OSHA standards
