Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Must be able to follow directions and safety procedures
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Must comply with hospital vaccination policies including influenza vaccination
- Availability for per diem work
- Strong interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Assist in preparation and cooking of foods for patients, café, and special functions
- Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain sanitation and food safety standards in all kitchen activities
- Clean and organize workstations and kitchen equipment
- Support inventory management by reporting supplies needed
- Collaborate with dietary and kitchen staff to accommodate special dietary requirements
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures including health and safety regulations
