Job Requirements

  • Is 18+ years of age
  • Has a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

Job Qualifications

  • Is 18+ years of age
  • Has a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Ability to follow Chef's instructions accurately
  • Strong attention to detail in food presentation and flavor
  • Good communication skills to report issues
  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

Job Duties

  • Follow the methods of food preparation, baking method and techniques to properly prepare and serve desserts as instructed by the Chef
  • Set-up and operate the workstation based on pars established by the Chef and follow station set-up organization
  • Ensure food is stored and kept at proper holding temperatures through the use and reading of thermometers
  • List the preparations that should be completed for each day the night before
  • Monitor consistency of quality, presentation and flavor of each dish
  • Assemble recipes without assistance
  • Communicate problems to the Sous Chef
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness of the work area, utensils and equipment
