Job Requirements
- Is 18+ years of age
- Has a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Job Qualifications
- Is 18+ years of age
- Has a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Ability to follow Chef's instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail in food presentation and flavor
- Good communication skills to report issues
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Job Duties
- Follow the methods of food preparation, baking method and techniques to properly prepare and serve desserts as instructed by the Chef
- Set-up and operate the workstation based on pars established by the Chef and follow station set-up organization
- Ensure food is stored and kept at proper holding temperatures through the use and reading of thermometers
- List the preparations that should be completed for each day the night before
- Monitor consistency of quality, presentation and flavor of each dish
- Assemble recipes without assistance
- Communicate problems to the Sous Chef
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of the work area, utensils and equipment
