Job Requirements
- Ability to read and write in English
- Perform basic arithmetic
- Understand measurements and follow written and oral instructions in English
- Minimum three years' experience as a cook in a hotel, restaurant, club, or similar institution
- Understanding of basic cooking methods
- Ability to plan and organize work
- Ability to interpret instructions, recipes, specifications, and standards
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Some knowledge of nutrition and diet

Job Duties
- Prepare all food items as per standardized recipes including soups, stocks, sautéed, fried, and baked items
- Determine the amount and type of food and supplies required for daily menus
- Obtain supplies from storage areas in adequate time for meal production
- Ensure food preparation meets quality and safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Adapt recipes and meal preparation to meet nutritional guidelines
- Assist in inventory management and kitchen equipment maintenance
