Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion or progress towards cast certification program
  • Completion or progress towards Food Safety ROU Course
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 60 pounds
  • Willingness to comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations and company policies
  • Ability to read and understand training materials

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent if not a current student
  • Completion or progress towards cast certification program
  • Completion or progress towards Food Safety ROU Course
  • Good public speaking and effective listening skills
  • Ability to perform quick and accurate calculations
  • Problem identification and resolution skills
  • Excellent communication with customers, co-workers, and management
  • Ability to set goals and prioritize tasks

Job Duties

  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Exceptional guest service skills
  • Preparing designated menu items using approved recipes, portions and plate presentations
  • Understanding and controlling food costs
  • Operating, preparing and cleaning food preparation equipment and kitchen areas
  • Proper use of cleaning materials
  • Ensuring inventory rotation using FIFO method
  • Properly utilizing storerooms
  • Knowledge of kitchen opening, closing and in between show procedures
  • Knowledge of emergency, evacuation and robbery procedures
  • Compliance with food safety and sanitation laws
  • Adherence to dress code
  • Abiding by federal and state laws regarding breaks and meal periods
  • Completing or progressing in cast certification programs
  • Reading and understanding training materials on sexual harassment and discrimination
