Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities
- Must be knowledgeable of dietary procedures
- Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and maintain the appearance of dietary service areas
- Must perform regular inspections of dietary service areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties
Job Qualifications

- Knowledgeable of dietary procedures
- Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities
- Experience in food service or culinary environment preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Duties
- Review menus prior to preparation of food
- Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, and submit to the Manager
- Ensure that menus are maintained and filed in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Coordinate services with other departments as necessary
- Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis while ensuring procedures are followed
- Assist in standardizing work methods to be accomplished
- Assume the authority, responsibility, and accountability of Cook
- Assist in establishing food service production line to assure meals are prepared on time
