Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food preparation required
- knowledge and experience in working with elderly and previous dementia experience preferred
- food service sanitation certificate according to state or local requirements
- ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- basic reading and writing skills
- ability to speak English in an understandable manner
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare appetizing and nutritious meals for residents
- assist the Culinary Services Coordinator in managing food service functions
- maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment
- adhere to food service sanitation regulations
- provide a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for residents
- demonstrate professionalism, tact, and sensitivity in service delivery
- assist with ordering and inventory management as needed
