Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food preparation
- knowledge and experience working with elderly
- previous dementia experience preferred
- food service sanitation certificate according to state or local requirements
- ability to stand, walk, bend and squat for prolonged periods
- ability to easily lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications

- basic reading and writing skills
- ability to speak English understandably
Job Duties
- prepare appetizing and nutritious meals for residents
- assist the Culinary Services Coordinator in managing food service functions
- maintain a clean, safe and comfortable kitchen environment
- follow food safety and sanitation regulations
- adapt meal preparation to accommodate dietary needs of elderly and dementia patients
- collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- uphold professionalism and tact in all service interactions
