Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ServSafe Certification or the ability to obtain within six months
- Ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines
- Capability to work full time, 40 hours per week
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Job Qualifications
- One to three (1-3) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- ServSafe Certification within 6 months of hire
Job Duties
- Determines types and quantities of all foods to be prepared by reviewing planned menus and printed tallies
- Determines foods, supplies, equipment that are low in supply and uses list to communicate to director, supervisor
- Assists in putting foods, supplies away appropriately in designated storage area after delivery
- Ensures meals are ready at specified times and consults with director, supervisor regarding use of leftover food
- Prepares all foods according to approved recipes and to suitable appearance standards while using garnishes when appropriate
